Apple’s iPad Air 2 is to follow in the footsteps of the iPhone range by adding a gold colour option, a new report claims.
Citing sources familiar with Apple’s plans, Bloomberg says Cupertino is pulling out the gold this year in an effort to boost declining iPad sales. The expected silver and grey options will also be available, it adds.
No mention of the iPad mini 3 though. We expect this could be in for the same treatment, and we hope this might be the year that we see it finally catch up with the rest of the family and introduce Touch ID fingerprint recognition.
And it’s (probably) not long to go until all is revealed. We’re expecting Apple to announce its next-gen tablets later this month.
