Sony massively scaled back its US presence, which meant that getting the latest Xperia was a difficult task for US residents. But is the Japanese electronics giant staging a comeback? T-Mobile already confirmed that it will carry the Xperia Z3 flagship and now Sony has scheduled an event for October 9.
The Demand Great tagline is featured prominently on the invite, thats the line for all Xperia Z3 ads in case you havent seen them (and indeed if youre in the US you probably havent).
The event will start at 1:30PM Eastern Time and will run for an hour and a half. That’s plenty of time to unveil the Xperia Z3 (and perhaps the Z3 Compact, fingers crossed), can Sony have something else in store? The day before HTC has an event to unveil its action camera but Sony already updated its Action Cam.
